AMTA Teams Up With Spine Physicians

The American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) approached AMTA for a collaborative and integrative effort on spine care. A brochure developed with AMTA is being distributed to spine physicians and their patients, and recommends massage therapy as a first choice for back pain and massage therapists as integrative partners in spine care. “The Role of the Massage Therapist in Spinecare” is available for download at spinephysicians.org/massage.
